Roger "Chico" Lee Sanchez Curtiss, 72, of Tiffin, passed away on February 7, 2021 at home, surrounded by family.
He was born on October 20, 1948, in Fremont, Ohio, to Alfonso and Mary Ann (Haubert) Sanchez. He married Susan Kay Cox on May 27, 1976 and she preceded him in death in 2018.
Survivor includes his mother, Mary Ann Sanchez of Tiffin; daughter, Malisha (Rodrick) Bridges of Sandusky; sons, Cory (Gina) Evans and Jason Evans, both of Fremont, Jamey Curtiss of Tiffin and Glenn (Samantha Grey) Feindel of Stamping Ground, KY.; brother, Frank Sanchez of Tiffin; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Sanchez.
Chico served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper during the Vietnam War and retired from AEP. After retirement, he had after several side jobs and enjoyed playing the guitar, piano, gaming, remote control airplanes and making enchiladas and hot sauce.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Seneca Memory Gardens with Rev. Paul Tyree officiating.
