Roger R. McClintock, 77, of Tiffin, died Friday morning, March 21, 2008, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical, Toledo.
July 14, 1930, he was born in Tiffin, to Alket and Hattie (Shrode) McClintock. February 14, 1952, he married Eleanor G. Driesel who preceded him in death. January 5, 2003, he married Anna Mae Koch in Sun Ray, FL.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae, two sons, Scott (Lynn Hall) McClintock, Pat (Theresa) McClintock, step son, Larry (Bonnie) Koch, all of Tiffin, one daughter, Lori (Ron) Sorg of Parrish, FL, three step daughters, Ruth (John) Hart, Lynn (Phil Gitcheff) Renninger, Peggy Jacobs, step daughter in law, Judy Koch, all of Tiffin, a sister, Annabelle Welter of Seattle, WA, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death along with his parents and first wife, Eleanor, is a son, Richard Koch in 2004, an infant brother, Eugene McClintock and a brother, James McClintock.
Roger was a 1948 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, participating in Trinity Two Somes and many other church activities. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1950-1954 during the Korean War. He Owned McClintock Insurance Agency in Tiffin from 1962-1979. Upon retirement, he moved to Florida, living there over 20 years. Roger was a member of Tiffin Masonic Lodge and enjoyed bowling and camping.
Memorial services will be 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Friends may visit with the family 5-7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424. .
