Ronald Dale Daughenbaugh, 73, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a year long battle of lung cancer. He is now at peace with his beloved wife, Debra Ann Daughenbaugh.
Ron was born on October 30, 1951 to Cletus and Helen (Nye) Daughenbaugh in Tiffin. On November 21, 1970, he married the love of his life, Debra who went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2020.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Dale Ann Fitch of Tiffin; son, Ronald (Amy) Daughenbaugh, of Tiffin; grandchildren, Shelby (Derek) Bloom, Cole Daughenbaugh, Halie (Austin) Bryant, Roni Lynn (Logan) Walker and Collin Fitch; great grandchildren, Garson, Brantley, Briar, Braylee, Colter and Nova; brothers, Cletus (Connie) Daughenbaugh and Larry Daughenbaugh, both of Tiffin; sisters, Sharon Breese, Deb Daughenbaugh and Rachel Kimble, all of Fostoria and Beverly (Jim) Myers of Clyde; sister-in-law, Lynda Daughenbaugh of Republic; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved with all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra; brothers, Charles, Robert and Raymond; sisters, Geraldine Lenz, Gloria Meyers and infant twin sisters, Margaret and Mary.
As a young man, Ron proudly served in the United States Army. Ron worked at American Standard and Data Documents; however, the most rewarding time of his life was coaching for Tiffin D League for 30 plus years. Ron made an impact on everyone he came in contact with. Nobody was a stranger to Ron. Ron was a character who lived life out loud and didn't give much thought to what others thought of him. His most cherished times were spending it with family. Ron was an avid OSU, Browns and Indians fan.
