Ronald L. Sours, 81, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.

He was born on August 24, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Art and Ethel (Wessner) Sours.  On April 10, 1964, he married Donna J. Ferguson and she preceded him in death on November 4, 2017.

Survivors include his three sons, Bobby (Hazel) Coots of TN, Tim (Karen) Coots of Republic and Rodney Sours of Tiffin; five daughters, Brenda (Gary) Runion of Tiffin, Cheryl (Glenn) McDannell of McCutchenville, Leat Blanton of Tiffin and Ronda (Carlis) Bryant and Crista Wright, both of TN; two brothers, Gene Sours, Sr. of Tiffin and Richard Sours of McClure; two sisters, Geradine Smith of Tiffin and Carolyn Gillant of Bucyrus; 25 grandchildren; and 56 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Mike Coots; brothers, Robert Sours, Henry Hines and Harold Hines; sisters, Joyce Corzine, Nancy Wilson and William Sours; grandson, Austin Stalnaker; and great grandson, Lincoln Thiel.

Ronald served in the United States Army from November 7, 1950 to February 19, 1962.  He worked at Nelson Publishing and American Standard.  He was a member of United Baptist Church where he enjoyed attending and Tiffin Moose Lodge #846.  Ronald also enjoyed playing dartball, bowling and playing cards.

A Graveside Service will be at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Rock Creek Cemetery with Pastor Jesse Caro officiating.   Military honors will be conducted by the United Veterans Office.
