Rosa C. Keller, 92, passed away Monday morning, October 31, 2011 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital in Tiffin.
On April 5, 1919, she was born to Ferdinand A. and Estella (Woycichowski) Hohman. She married Eugene "Bub" Sorg on June 11, 1940 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1967. She later married Roy Keller on April 5, 1975.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; one son; Larry (Linda) Sorg of Fremont, OH; one daughter; Kathleen (James) Snyder of Bowling Green, OH; two step-sons, Tracey Keller and Gary (Kathy) Keller both of Sycamore, OH; two step-daughters, Cynthia (Carl) Keller of Phoenix, AZ and Laura (Alan) Holsinger of Sycamore, OH; one son-in-law, John Benner of Tiffin, OH; Brothers; Leo (Rosemary) Hohman of Bowling Green, OH and Donald Hohman of New Riegel, OH; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Bub, daughter; Carolyn Benner, brothers; Edward, John, Arthur, Norbert and Herbert Hohman, sisters; Alexina Hoerig, Hilda Reinhart and Rita Hohman, and one grandson, Dennis Snyder.
Rosa was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and retired in 1983 from General Electric as a press operator/inspector. She spent her winters in Sarasota, FL for twenty-four years. She was a member of the Tiffin Eagles Club and the Tiffin Moose Lodge. Rosa was a member of the Rosary Alter Society and enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, bingo and cards.
A mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 4-8 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419)447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 3:30 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
