Rose Mary Magers, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday afternoon, November 13, 2016 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on April 1, 1932, in Liberty Twp., to Frank and Estella (Kimmet) Hoover. On January 10, 1953, in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married Leroy J. Magers and he preceded her in death in 1997.

Survivors include her six sons, Doyle E. (Deb) Magers of Tiffin, Dennis L. Magers of Bascom, David M. (Kathy) Magers of Elida, Daniel J. Magers of Tiffin, Donald T. (Jill) Magers of Nebraska and R. Joseph Magers of Tiffin; four daughters, Linda (Loren) Miller and Sandra Hoffman, both of Tiffin, Karen (William) Brose of New Riegel and M. Pamela (Russell) Hays of Tiffin; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; five brothers, Richard, Kenneth, Ronald, Charles and Donald Hoover; three sisters, Norma Haefer and infant sisters, Hilda M. Hoover and Beatrice I. Hoover; one grandson; and one great grandson.

Rose Mary graduated in 1950 from Tiffin Calvert High School and worked as a telephone operator for a few years. She was a member St. Mary Catholic Church, Green Springs V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the Tiffin Moose #846. Rose Mary was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed going on casino trips, was on several bowling leagues with her husband and loved spending time with her family.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at St. Francis Chapel with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
