Obituary

Rose M. Frick, 94, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 29, 2025, at The Willows at Tiffin, with her dearest friend, Alicia Watts, by her side.

She was born on November 10, 1930, at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, to Henry and Edna (Kuntz) Rahrig. On August 27, 1955, she married Richard W. Frick. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2010.

Also preceding her in death was her infant sister, Patricia, and her brother, Wilbert J. Rahrig.

Rose graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1948. She attended Tiffin University night school while employed in the Claims Department of Mohawk Motor Transportation. She retired as Claim Agent for the nine terminals, after having been employed for twenty years.

Rose was actively involved in the Tiffin community.  She was a member of the former Tiffin Jr. Women's League and Tiffin Women's Club. Rose was also a member of the former Heidelberg College Fellows, and, at the time of her death, a member of Heidelberg Heritage Society, Tiffin University President Club, Golden Oak Society of Toledo University, Johnson Island Civil War Club and Round Table, and St. Joseph Catholic Church. In addition, Rose was a member of Allen Airy Sr. Center and Kiwanis Manor of Tiffin Sr. Center. She was a Mercy Hospital Volunteer for 35 years and a former Red Cross Volunteer for 11 years. Rose and her husband, Richard, enjoyed travelling. They were also long-time members of the Democratic Party including during the John F. Kennedy Presidential Campaign when they had the honor of being invited to the Presidential Victory Party in Washington D.C.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
