Obituary

Rosella Margaret Gnepper, 92, of Tiffin, and formerly of New Riegel, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 6, 2015 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on May 29, 1923, in Akron, Ohio to John and Clara (Landoll) Kramer. On August 13, 1949, in St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, she married Wayne Gnepper.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Tiffin; two sons, Paul (Mary) Gnepper of Van Buren and William Gnepper of Belle Center; three daughters, Rose Wheatley of Tiffin, Darlene (Ken) Lafontaine of Lewis Center and Nancy (Dennis) Coleman of Rock Hill, South Carolina; sister, Milly (Louie) Lucius of New Riegel; sister-in-law, Bess Kramer of Wichita Falls, TX; nine grandchildren, Brad Gnepper, Adam Gnepper, Michelle Helba, Ross Wheatley, Shanna Kara, Grant Lafontaine, Benjamin Coleman, Christopher Coleman and Sara Risner; 11 great-grandchildren, Rowan Gnepper, Loren Gnepper, Kayla Gnepper, Jackson Gnepper, Avonlea Helba, Ariana Kara, Bianca Kara, Chloe Kara, Piper Coleman, Kevin Heyman and Karson Stombaugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Germaine Scherger, two brothers, Donald Kramer and Robert Kramer; son-in-law, Mike Wheatley; and a great-grandchild, Baby Girl Coleman.

Rosella attended New Riegel High School. She was a member of All Saints Parish in New Riegel and a member of their Rosary Altar Society. She worked for 24 A½ years as a dishwasher and cook at New Riegel School and for 4 A½ years at the Corner T Bar in New Riegel. Rosella loved playing cards and quilting. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family and friends. They spent many vacations over the years in Kansas and Texas visiting relatives. Rosella loved her special cat, Shadow.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 3-8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass on Saturday at the Church. A Christian Wake
Service will begin at 2:30 P.M.
