Obituary

Royal J. "Robbie" Robbins, 91, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday morning, April 28, 2013 at St. Catherine's Manor of Fostoria.

On June 12, 1921 in Fostoria, he was born to John and Mae Robbins. He married Halie "Bell" Fitch on November 7, 1971.

Survivors include a son, Larry and his wife Kim, a daughter, Iris and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Halie, and a son, Buck Robbins.

Robbie served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Hayes Albion. He was a Detroit Tigers and an Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a member of the Tiffin Eagles, VFW Post 2858 and travelled to Nashville, TN often where he was friends with many Country and Western Stars. He was known for his Tall Tales and his great sense of humor.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 at Fairmont Cemetery where the service will be conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit on Tuesday from 10-11 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883 419-447-2424.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local Veteran's organization.
