Russell Marvin Work, 73, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 unexpectedly in The Villages, FL, near their winter home in Lady Lake FL.

He was born in Tiffin, Ohio on July 12, 1938. He married Joanne Work and she preceded him in death. He later married Janet S. Work.

Survivors include his wife, Janet of 39 years; three sons, Jeffrey L (Joyce) Work and Scott R. (Cindy) Work both of Tiffin, OH, and Craig S. Hull of Weirsdale, FL; daughter, Diana H. Shannon of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Kenneth (Nancy) Work of Tiffin, OH; two sisters, Kathleen (Tom) Schultz of Tiffin, OH and Darlene (Wayne) McMillen of Strongsville, OH; four grandchildren, Dylan Work, Matthew Work, Michael Work and Michelle Work; and two great grandchildren, Samantha Yarger and Hailey Work.

Russell retired after 38 years with The Mennel Milling Co. of Fostoria, OH. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Tiffin, OH and was a member of the Tiffin Moose. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, playing card games, entertaining and spending time with his grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 3-7:00 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with a memorial service following at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. James Hoffman officiating.
