Ruth M. Wank, 91, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, June 3, 2014 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on October 22, 1922, in Liberty Twp., Ohio, to Lloyd E. and Leona (Christophory) Koerper. On October 26, 1946, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married Paul Wank and he preceded her in death in 1995.

Survivors include her son, Ron (Mary) Wank of Lakewood; 2 daughters, Elaine (Bruce) Wank-Burton of Osprey, FL and Dianne (Larry) Mershman of Bowling Green; sister, Margie Wasserman of Fremont; and 3 grandchildren, Christopher Wank and Megan and Aaron Mershman.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Jeanne Wank-Rothenberger in 2001; 2 brothers, Eugene and Bernard "Bud" Koerper; and 2 sisters, Rose Collier and Sr. Beatrice Koerper.

Ruth graduated in 1940 from Tiffin Calvert High School and worked at American Greeting Corporation as a merchandiser for over 15 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and St. Francis Auxiliary. Ruth volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul and at St. Francis Home helping in the gift shop and with Bingo.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 9, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 85 S. Sandusky St., Tiffin, Ohio, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
