Ruth A. Holbrook, 74, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, December 06, 2024, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.

She was born on August 28, 1950, in Tiffin, to Gaylord and Dorothy Rosemary (Elchert) Webb.  She married Virgil A. Holbrook on January 03, 1970, and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2020.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy (Larry) Hemminger of New Riegel; sister, Millie (Joe Holcomb) Jackson of Tiffin; brothers, Freddy and Eddy Webb of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Levy (Makaila) Hemminger, Spencer (Luc Duffey) Hemminger and Hunter (Edward Ardner) Hemminger all of New Riegel; great grandchild, Scarlet; and son-in-law, Kevin Mitsch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Delta Holbrook and Donna Mitsch; brothers, Bob and Bill Webb; and an infant sister, Mary Catherine Webb.

Ruth was a member of The First Church of The Nazarene and a 1970 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.  She worked at Ameriwood for over 25 years, later retiring.  She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, gambling and trips to the casino. She was an avid collector of Tiffin Glass and a passionate Michigan football fan.

Her funeral will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at The First Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lois Moranville officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
