Ryan A. Balliett, 30, of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 after a 2 year battle with Leukemia.

He was born on August 22, 1995, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Gerald and Kathie (Biller) Balliett.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Kathie Balliett of Tiffin; brothers, Ted Balliett of Mobile, AL and Steven Balliett of Perrysburg; sisters, Emilie Balliett of Indianapolis, IN and Angela Balliett of Van Wert; and two nieces, Ruby and Willow.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Leslie Balliett.

Ryan was a 2013 graduate of Old Fort High School. After high school, he served in the United States Navy on the USS Carl Vinson from August 13, 2013 to April 11, 2017. After serving in the Navy, he started his career as a Journeyman Millwright working out of Toledo. He was affiliated with Fostoria First Church of Nazarene. Ryan was adventurous, he loved going on cruises and traveling all over the United States and Mexico. You could often find Ryan driving around in his truck listening to country music or going to country concerts. Ryan loved his dogs, Goku and Hubble.

Per his request, there will not be any services.
