S. Georgienne Miletti, 96, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on February 22, 1923, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, to Elmer F. and Sylvia I. (Ruch) Linnert.  On June 18, 1949 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, she married Paul G. Miletti and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2017.

She is survived by her four daughters, Kathryn (Michael) Miletti Kelbley of Tiffin, Nancy Uher of New Albany, Barb Farling of Findlay and Paula (Dale) Depew of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren, Allisun, Elisabeth, Matthew, Jeffrey, Tim, Jon, Pam, Becca, Emily and Molly; and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and sister Marilyn C. Linnert.

Georgienne graduated in 1940 from Orange High School in Pepper Pike, Ohio and with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Home Economics from Otterbein College.  After college, she moved to Tiffin to work for Ohio Power as a home economist from 1948 to 1951, then taught Home Economics at Tiffin Calvert for 14 years and was an advisor to the National Honors Society.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Calvert Lady's Boosters, the American Association of University Women, having served as president, a docent for the Seneca County Museum, and volunteered for Mercy Hospital Mobile Meals.

Friends may visit with the family from 4:30 – 6:30 P.M. on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Her funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Frank Murd officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Museum, Civil War Museum, or to Commission on Aging Meals on Wheels.
