Sara Jane Keith 89, of Tiffin, OH and formerly of Williamstown, WV died Monday December 14, 2009 at Elmwood at the Shaw in Tiffin. She was born January 30, 1920 in McMechen, WV to the late Harry Nicholas and Sarah Ann Henry Workman.

She graduated from Union High School in McMechen, WV and West Liberty College in West Liberty, WV. Before moving to Williamstown she lived in Wheeling and Williamstown and maintained a home on the family farm in Harrisville, WV. She was a Teacher and later the Assistant Director and Curriculum Supervisor for Washington-Morgan County Child Development Center. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Williamstown Womens Club, Sara Circle of First United Methodist Church in Williamstown, WV, an avid seamstress and cross stitch enthusiast. Her grandsons think she is famous for her chocolate chip cookies.

She is survived by a son, David Charles Keith (Paula) of Raleigh, NC, daughters, Barbara Zinn (Roy) of Tiffin, OH, and Doris Jean Keith (Tom) of Columbia, SC, grandsons Douglas Zinn (Tracy) and Ryan Zinn both of Columbus, OH and Adam Keith of Atlanta, Ga and Matthew Keith of Columbia, SC, great grandsons, Greg, Nathan and Tyler Zinn all of Columbus, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, and her husband Charles Arlie Keith (9/27/97), a brother, William Henry Workman and a sister, Margaret Elizabeth Goodwin.

Service will be Saturday December 19, 2009 11:00 AM at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta, OH, burial to follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Harrisville, WV. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday December 18, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
