Sharon Louise "Sherry" Gase, 65, of New Riegel, passed away on Thursday morning, May 5, 2016 at Bridge Hospice, Findlay.

She was born on October 12, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to James E. and Ethel V. (Tiell) Gase.

Survivors include her brother, Larry (Merri) Gase of Fostoria; two sisters, Kathy Hemminger of TX and Charlene Gase of New Riegel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, PFC James F. Gase; and sister, Judy Mileto.

Sherry graduated from New Riegel High School in 1968, from Georgeann Academy and was a beautician at Brenda's Hair Place for over thirty years. She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown, the Rosary Altar Society and volunteered at church and their annual festival. Sherry enjoyed knitting, crafts, needlepoint, macramAC., Bingo, going to the Amish Country, Lake Erie and to casinos. She also enjoyed cake decorating and making cakes for everyone.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.
