Sharon K. Mitten, 79, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

She was born on May 4, 1941, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Robert J. and Ruth N. (Schnegelsberger) Mitten.

Survivors include her brother, Robert J. (Carol) Mitten; niece, Mary (Phil) Carroll; and nephews, Matt (Brenda) Mitten, Phil Mitten and Martin (Michelle) Mitten and special friend, Joyce McKinney.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon graduated in 1959 from Tiffin Calvert High School, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell and later in the office at Pettibone.  She was a Tiffin resident her entire life except for a brief time lived in Florida.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Home and at Mercy St. Vincent Intensive Care Unit for their kind and professional care provided to Sharon.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to Mass on Friday at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Home.
