Shirley A. Mattson, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, August 06, 2023 at her home.

She was born on September 05, 1938, in Bloomville, Ohio, to Andrew and Marie (Thiery) Eigel.  She married George Mattson and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2003.

Survivors include her son, Denny (Patty) Mattson of Republic; daughters, Roxanne (Mark) Turner, Amy Mattson and Cindy (Jeff) Drum, all of Tiffin; sister-in-law, Linda Schultz; eight grandchildren, Angie, Casey, Mandy, Logan, Shannon, Lindsay, Chad and Janelle; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenny Mattson; and sisters, Jean Dunn and Millie Macielewicz.

Shirley was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and former member of the Eagles #402.  She was very social, enjoyed being a home body, going out to eat, trips to the casino and was a great mother.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 11, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life, St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Southern Care Hospice.
