Shirley A. Koehl passed away peacefully at Good Shepherd Home on Friday, June 26, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Koehl, whom she married on May 3, 1975, and her parents, Calvin E. Wilkinson and Norma M. Wilkinson (Houpt).

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie A. Koehl (Jessie C. Sherman) of Cincinnati, her son, Aaron C. (Meranda L.) Koehl, grandsons; Jacob A. Koehl, Aiden J. Koehl, Alex G. Koehl of Tiffin, and her granddaughter, Payton A. Sherman-Koehl of Cincinnati. She is also survived by her sister, Janise Brown of Charlotte, NC and her brother, Dennis (Debora) Wilkinson of Tiffin.

She dedicated herself to her children and grandchildren - cooking meals, playing games and creating a home filled with warmth and love. Her family was the center of her world, and she found happiness in everyday moments spent together. She also spent time sewing for her family and creating beautiful quilts for everyone. Shirley was also a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Guardians.

Over the past two years, she has been living at Good Shepherd Home. She received wonderful care, kindness, warmth, and love from the staff while being in the memory care wing, Cascades Wing.

Friends may share stories and visit with the family on Thursday, July 02, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. Her funeral will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Charlene Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
