Shirley Ann Sterling, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 19, 2025, at her home.

She was born on April 24, 1938, to Robert and Mary (Smith) Parkins. On April 12, 1975, she married Richard Sterling, celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Tiffin; son, Dean Stahl of Tiffin; stepsons, Rickie Sterling of North Carolina and Randie (Debbie) Sterling of Tiffin; stepdaughters, Linda (Mike) Tippin and Robin (Butler) Stephens, both of Tiffin; brother, Terry (Joanne) Parkins of Elmore; 19 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Wayne Stahl; and her dog, Ava.

Shirley was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and a 1956 graduate of Columbian High School. She was a bookkeeper at Foodtown and enjoyed cruises, traveling the U.S.A. with friends, camping worldwide, playing cards, and dancing. She enjoyed the company of her many friends and classmates and loved hosting everyone at her home.

Her memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Faith United Methodist Church, 75 N. Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Friday at the Church.
