Sonja R. Runion, 74, of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, December 3, 2012 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on September 16, 1938 in Tiffin, Ohio to Raymond and Margaret (Cottrell) Hahler. On February 1, 1954, she married Edward C. Runion and he survives.

Also surviving are 3 sons, Edward A. (Cheri) Runion and John R. Runion, both of Tiffin, and Mark A. (Carol) Runion of Fort Seneca; 1 brother, Mike Hahler of Tiffin; 3 sisters, Peggy (Larry) Barker and Shirley Fisher, both of Tiffin, and Sue (Gary) Chaney of Clyde; 6 grandchildren, Jason Runion, Brandi Stewart, Eric (Jessica) Runion, Brock (Chrissy) Runion, William Fleck and Keane Bodi; 6 great grandchildren, Caleb, Zach, Autumn, Keely, Nicolis and T.J.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and sister, Frances Agerter.

Sonja was a member of Old Trinity Episcopal Church where she also volunteered and was on the Altar Guild. She enjoyed fishing at the lake and working on crafts.

There will be no visitation or burial at this time.
