Stephen L. "Steve" Breidenbach, 71, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital, after a 26-year battle with ALS.

He was born on August 17, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Paul and Christine M. (Schetter) Breidenbach.  On December 20, 1969, he married his high school sweetheart, Lucretia Hoover.

Survivors include his wife, Lucretia Breidenbach of Tiffin; sons, Eric (Tonya) Breidenbach and Troy (Christina) Breidenbach, both of Tiffin; brother, Dennis Breidenbach of Tiffin; sisters, Paula (Dennis) Wise and Marcia (Val) Martinez, both of Tiffin; and four grandchildren, Bailey, Brook, Macy and Jada.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Steve was a 1968 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and from Tiffin University.  He worked at GEM, Mfg. and for Hopewell Twp. at Meadowbrook Park for 26 years.  Steve was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  He was an OSU fan and enjoyed deer hunting, spending time in the woods, farming, playing tennis, collecting and researching history and loved High School sports.

His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
