Stephen Eric “Steve” Rodriguez, 50, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, Columbus surrounded by family and loved ones.

He was born on June 10, 1976, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Henry and Lupe (Vera) Rodriguez.

Survivors include his parents, Henry (Mary) Rodriguez of Bay Village and Lupe (John Ricci) Rodriguez of Tiffin; sons, Austen (McKenna) Molyet of Tiffin and Colton Rodriguez of Findlay; granddaughter, Cecilia Molyet of Tiffin; brothers, Mike Rodriguez of Hendersonville, NC, Jim (Michelle) Rodriguez of Clyde and Andy Rodriguez of Hendersonville, NC; many aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and special best buds Jacob and Adelina.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent (Lupe) Vera of Tiffin, Enrique Rodriguez Sr. of Laredo, TX and Martina Rodriguez of Clyde and his middle child, Angel Rodriguez.

Steve was a 1994 graduate of Old Fort High School. Steve loved playing high school baseball and being with his friends. After high school he attended The Ohio State University, he was employed at American Standard for years. He loved being a buckeye, a steelers fan and The Grateful Dead, one of his greatest passions was fishing with his sons.
