Steven Edward Burd, 56, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 10:34 A.M., at his home in Tucson, Arizona.

He was born December 29, 1958 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Robert E Burd and Helen Bernice (Scherger) Burd.

He graduated from Bettsville High School in 1977. Steven married his high school sweetheart, Julie
Mowery, December 9, 1977, in Englewood, Colorado. Steve and Julie moved to Tucson, AZ., 1979, where
he took a temporary job with the US Postal Service, and did such great work he was hired full time. He
retired from USPS in 2009. He enjoyed buying and selling on Craig's list and they loved to watch all types
of sporting events, and relaxing around the pool.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; and brothers, Robert (Nancy) Burd II of Milford, DE, Michael (Irene) Burd
of Tiffin, OH; Gerald (Patricia) Burd of Cibolo, TX, and David Burd of Fremont, OH.

A Mass will be held at St. Francis Home Chapel in Tiffin, Ohio, on Friday, Jan 15, 2016 at 9:30 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Steven's name to Community Hospice Center, 181 E.
Perry Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
