Sue A. Walters, 65, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center.

She was born on November 30, 1951, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Sam and Philomena (Paradiso) Mathias.  On June 26, 1970, she married Ronald L. Walters.

Survivors include her husband, Ron of Tiffin; sons, Ron Walters, Jr., of Clearwater Beach, FL, Matt Walters, and Nate (Mandy) Walters both of Delaware; daughters, Teresa (Gary) Milner of Delaware and Samantha (Dana) Plouck of Tucson, AZ; brother, Sam (Tracey) Mathias, Jr. of Binghamton, NY; sister, Mary Jo (Bob) SanGregory of Tiffin; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Jr. and Nixon Walters, Samuel and Robbie Milner, and Cole, Grant, Jack and Brynn Plouck.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue graduated in 1970 from Tiffin Calvert High School, from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1987 and retired as a math teacher from Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware.  She lived in Delaware for over 35 years, moving to Vail, Arizona after retirement and recently moved back to Tiffin, Ohio.  Sue loved to volunteer at church where she was a server, Eucharistic Minister and PSR teacher.  She also volunteered her time at area organizations in Arizona and Ohio, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 1:30 to 5:30 P.M. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
