Susan K. Distel, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo

She was born on May 06, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Phillip D. and Ruth V. (Luidhardt) Boyer.

Survivors include her daughter, Lee Dumond of Pickerington; brother, David (Susan Hemminger) Boyer of Tiffin; and three grandchildren, Zane (Dakota), Noah (Kaitlyn) and Kallan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Michael Distel.

Susan was a 1967 graduate of Columbian High School.  She worked at McClung's Animal Hospital for ten years and as a TPW and teacher's aide at Tiffin Developmental Center, retiring after 30 years.  Susan loved animals and spent her summers at the Meadowbrook pool.

A private service was held and burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.

The family would like to thank VCA Dog & Cat Hospital for helping with Susan's animals and to St. Vincent Mercy Health for their care.
