Susan F. Fuller-Heminger, 76, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening, May 16, 2012, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

She was born on October 1, 1935, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Edward B. and Emma S. (Baker) Burkart. She married Walter Neikirk and they divorced. On March 5, 1983, she married Herbert Fuller and he preceded her in death on November 5, 1994. She later married Roy Heminger on September 14, 1996 and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2008.

Survivors include son, Jeff Neikirk of Tiffin; daughter, Cheryl (Daryl Huffman) Neikirk of Tiffin; two brothers, Alfred Burkart of Georgia and Charles Burkart of Tiffin; and three sisters, Rita (Dominic) Bursa of Tiffin, Liz Fabrizio of Massachusetts and Judy (John) Hill of Marblehead.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Edward, Jerry, George and James Burkart; and one sister, Mary Louise Boehner.

Susan graduated from Calvert High School in 1953 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a cook at the D.A.V. for many years and she enjoyed traveling.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
