Susan K. "Susie" Schubach, 68, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday morning, August 7, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

She was born on October 18, 1947, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Joe and Ilo L. (Gibson) Broughton. On October 27, 1968, she married Rodger D. Schubach and they later divorced.

Survivors include her two sons, Jeff (Amanda Whittington) Schubach of Marion and Joseph (Mary) Schubach of Elyria; daughter, Heather Schubach of Tiffin; ex-husband, Rodger D. (Kris Hohman) Schubach; two sisters, Sharon (Gary) Black of Tiffin and Janice Panuto of Tiffin; granddaughter, Bridget Cabassa; and her Pomeranian dog, Pepper.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Steve Panuto.

Susie graduated in 1965 from Tiffin Columbian High School and then from the Toledo Academy of Beauty. After beauty school, she was a beautician at Vanity Fair and in 1968 she moved to Colorado Springs, CO. She then moved to Flat Rock, MI, and then to North Ridgeville for 20 years, moving back to Tiffin in 1998. She enjoyed traveling, baking, camping, being outdoors, reading, watching high school and college football; especially The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos. Susie enjoyed caring for her family and she always put everyone else before herself.

Her Funeral Service will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Jeff Lanzer officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
