Theresa Catherine Proctor, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2016 at her home.

On March 19, 1928 in Omar, Reed Township, she was born to Joseph J. and Esther (brown) Wise. She married James Vernon Proctor on July 28, 1975 and he preceded her in death in June 1985.

Survivors include a sister, Eileen Reinhart of Tiffin; brother, Vincent (Patricia) Wise of Bellevue; 27 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Walter Wise, Richard Wise, and Eugene Wise and a sister, Florence Alt.

Theresa was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and worked at Zehner Packing in Bellevue and later as a cook at Tiffin Developmental Center for 20 years before retiring. She was an avid bowler in her early years and a member of the Tiffin Developmental Center Retirees and enjoyed having breakfast with friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior Mass. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 419-447-2424. A Christian Wake service will begin at 3:30 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care or to a charity of the donor's choice.
