Thomas A. Bordner, 76, of Delaware, OH, passed away Friday afternoon, November 4, 2016 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

On November 29, 1940 in Tiffin; he was born to Russell C. and Dorothy (Lusk) Bordner and they preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Patrick (Cindy) Nycz of West Lafayette, IN; Traci Nycz of Plattsburg, NY; Cara Martens of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Bill (Rodna) Bordner of Bowling Green; sisters, Beverly Ator of Ravenna, OH; Joanne (Jim) Kimmel of Tiffin and five grandchildren.

Tom graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1958 and served four years in the U.S. Air force from 1958-1962. After serving his country, he worked at National Machinery from 1962-1975, Owens Illinois in Findlay from 1975 until his retirement in 2000. He was a Red Cross volunteer for two years and a Bridge Hospice volunteer for eight. Tom has spent the last few years in Delaware with his former classmate and life partner, Sue Grotty.

A Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 895 E CR 36, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883 with Rev. Matt Garrabrant officiating. A luncheon will follow at Harmony United Methodist Church, 6545 S CR 19, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883.

Friends may gather on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 P.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice in Findlay or to Greenlawn Cemetery.
