Thomas A. Payne, 61, of Tiffin, passed away Monday evening, May 2, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

On November 5, 1949 in Tiffin, he was born to William L. and Cynthia G. (Belle) Payne. He married Virginia Elchert on April 9, 1973 at First Christian Church and she preceded him in death on May 17, 2006.

Thomas had 6 brothers, 7 sisters, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews, Kevin Mason and Joe Robbins that he enjoyed watching cartoons with and others.

Thomas was a member of First United Baptist Church of Tiffin and Tiffin Boy Rangers. He enjoyed watching karate, World Wrestling Entertainment, and baseball. He exercised and read his Bible daily.

A graveside service will be Friday, May 6, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Seneca Memory Garden with Rev. David Raulston officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
