Thomas Eugene 'Perch' Zoeller, 62, of Bascom, died Thursday evening, May 15, 2008, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
On August 7, 1945, he was born in Tiffin to Herman S. and Marie (Strausbaugh) Zoeller. On October 28, 1977, he married Mary Ann Faber and they later divorced.
Survivors include his mother, Marie Zoeller, of rural Tiffin, three sons, Cory (Tracy Ramirez) Zoeller, Zach (Mindy Garcia) Zoeller, both of Tiffin, Jed Zoeller of Green Springs, three brothers, Herman J. 'Sonny' (Donna) Zoeller of rural Tiffin, Jerry (Diann) Zoeller of Tiffin, Tim (Lori) Zoeller of Fostoria, three sisters, Marge (Ed) Creeger of Houston, TX, Dorothy (Rick) Osterwalder, Judy (Dan 'Spud') Miller all of Tiffin, three grandchildren, Cody, Andrew and Maxwell, lots of nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death along with his father is a brother, William Zoeller.
Perch attended Hopewell Loudon High School and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He worked the last 8 years at McComb Consolidated Biscuit and was a member of Tiffin Moose Lodge #846. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandsons, going to flea markets and finding treasures, camping, visiting his Mom, Mae and Dick, and helping the Lions Club make popcorn balls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Art Niewiadomski officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family 2 - 8 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424. A Christian wake service will be 7:45 PM.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or Tiffin Lions Club.
