Obituary

Timothy C. 'Tim' Dahms, 58, of Tiffin, died Wednesday morning, October 28, 2009, at Ann Arbor Veteran's Hospital.

January 4, 1951, he was born in Fostoria to Russell and Phyllis (Stahl) Dahms. July 21, 1979, he married Debbie L. Schell in Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont.

Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Dahms of Tiffin, two daughters, Michelle J. (Manuel) Ortega of Fremont, Marie R. (Scott) Barto of Tiffin, two brothers, Russell Dahms Jr. of Tiffin, Curt Dahms of Findlay, four sisters, Leah (Steve) Cramer of Oregon, Laura (Ed) Talbot of Tiffin, Lisa (Dan) Merwine of Upper Sandusky, Lois (Vincent Eatherton) Leader of Fostoria, five grandchildren, Rochelle, Manuel III and Izahas Ortega, Megan Dahms, and Alan Barto and an expected great-grandson.

Preceding him in death along with his father, Russell, on November 14, 2008, and wife, Debbie On September 2, 1997, is a brother, Neil Allen Dahms.

Tim was a member of Arcadia Church of God and graduated from Lakota High School in 1969. He served his country in the U.S Army from January 1970 to December 1971 as a Medical Corpsman in Vietnam. He loved music, wrote songs and played guitar. He enjoyed working on his cars and motorcycles and just being a grandpa.

His Funeral Service will be 12:00 Noon, November 3, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424, with Pastor Norman Claypool and Pastor Joe Curatti officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens with Military Graveside services conducted by the United Veteran's Council.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10-12 Noon, November 3, 2009 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
