Timothy John Reis, 66, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.

Tim was born September 9, 1948, in Seneca County. He is survived by his mother, Loretta (Culver) Reis and wife, Amor (Dizon) Reis of Tiffin. Also surviving are his children, Laura Anese of Stow, Joe (Kelie) Reis of Medina, Matthew (Denise Traunero) Reis of Gahanna, Christina (Ethan) Gary of Stow, and Mariella Reis at home; four grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Anese and Andrew and Tyler Reis; sister, Susan (Charles) Sherman; and brother, Rodney (Char) Reis.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Reis; and sister, Rita Reis.

Tim graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1966 and attended Terra Tech. He worked at Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde, as an electrician. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish and the Knights of Columbus #608. Tim loved farming, hunting, watching football and old westerns.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Activities Center at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.

Friends may visit with the family from 3-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 2:30 P.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Calvert Catholic Schools or to a charity of the donor's choice.
