Obituary

Timothy R. Renninger, 76, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

He was born on September 4, 1940, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Robert J. and Norma L. (Corthell) Renninger. On July 14, 1962, he married Jacqueline Gregson.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline of Tiffin; son, Tracey (Bonnie) Renninger of Lordstown; daughter, Michelle (Brian) Newland of Vanceboro, NC; sister, Judith Kundsen of Sandusky; and four grandchildren, Lauren Dunn, Meghan Newland, Eric Renninger and Danielle Renninger.

He was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Steven Andrew Renninger.

Timothy graduated in 1958 from Tiffin Columbian High School and served in the United States Air Force from January 5, 1961 to December 11, 1964. While serving in England, Timothy met his wife, Jacqueline. He worked at National Machinery, Borg Warmer in Fremont and later retired from Allied Signal, which is now Honeywell. Timothy enjoyed visiting his friends at the Pit Stop, buying lottery tickets, watching the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Tim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who he was very proud of.

His funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Lanzer officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11-1 pm at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care or a charity of the donor's choice.
