Obituary

Twyla M. Hefner, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on March 2, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, to Roy and Estella (Howell) Fishbaugh. On August 23, 1958, in First Nazarene in Lima, Ohio, she married Donald Hefner.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; two sons, Todd (Donna) Hefner and Gregg (Dawn) Hefner, both of Tiffin, Ohio; one daughter, Holly (David) Duncan, of Findlay, Ohio; three sisters, Beverly Spyker and Mary (Bill) Petty, both of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Janet Poliseno of Columbus, Ohio; and eight grandchildren, Matthew and Kaitlin Duncan, Brittany (fiancAC., Todd Kramer), Zachary, Courtney, Elizabeth (fiancAC., Jakob Boehler), Emillee and Abigail.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Twyla was a member of New Beginning Assembly of God Church. She was a teacher's aide at Noble for 36 years. She was an usher at the Ritz Theatre for many years and also worked at Greenbriar Catering for years. Twyla enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and quilting. She was a 4-H advisor in Lima. She also enjoyed riding horses and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be on, Thursday March 15, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at New Beginnings Assembly of God with Rev. Rex King officiating.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 5-8:00 P.M. at New Beginnings Assembly of God and on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 9-10:00 A.M. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings Assembly of God or New Beginnings Assembly of God Building Fund.
