Urban E. Feasel, 93 of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at his residence.

Urban came from humble beginnings.  Born in 1929, he was raised in rural Bascom during the Depression.  The family moved to Tiffin, where he met and married BettyLou Shultz in 1946.  She passed away on August 6, 2022.

Together they raised four children, Dan (Janet), Suzanne, and Jim Feasel, and Linda (Ken, deceased) Hetzel.   Ten grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren also branched from the family tree.

Urban's motto was always, "Hard work and plenty of it" and he enjoyed every moment of it.  If you were nearby, he would put you to work as well.

He started his own building business, Feasel Builders, at a young age and continued building into his 80's.  Chances are, if you have ever been to Tiffin, you have driven past a home he built.  Many families are snug and warm this winter because of his handiwork which will live on for many decades after his passing.

A private Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church and burial in the parish cemetery for both Urban and BetyLou will be at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
