Valerie L. Cap, 50, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, June 8, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic.

She was born on March 6, 1962, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Leroy O. and Beverly A. (Haudenshild) Taylor. She married Ed Cap and they later divorced.

Survivors include her father and mother, Leroy and Beverly Taylor of Tiffin, OH; two sons, Chris (Lori) Bonhan of Tiffin, OH and Shawn Cap of Tiffin, OH; three daughters, Julia Cap of Tiffin and twins, Shannon and Shaelyn Emery of Owings, MD; brother, Chad (Heather) Taylor of Tiffin, OH; sister, Amy (Robert) Somers of Tiffin, OH; and one grandchild, Jessie Bonhan.

Valerie attended Hopewell Loudon High School and Mercy College of Nursing in New York. She enjoyed singing, dancing, crocheting, riding Harley's, cooking and trying new things. She also enjoyed raising her children.

A Memorial service will be on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Bible Baptist Church, 130 Brace Ave., Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
