Vera Elizabeth Adams, 94, a resident of Autumnwood Care Center, formerly of Bascom, Sandusky, Fairview Park and Thousand Oaks, CA, died at 8:05 A.M. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Autumnwood.

She was born on May 14, 1918 in Bascom, to Lewis and Rosa (Shiley) Comer. She married Floyd Leslie Adams in Bascom and he died May 20, 1984 in Thousand Oaks, California.

Vera is survived by two sons, Jon L. Adams of Tiffin and William T. Adams of Jacksonville, FL; and a daughter, Kathleen J. Bayramian of Somis, CA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 brothers, James & Don Comer, both of Tiffin and Paul Comer of Fostoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Melvin "Doc" Comer; and 3 sisters, Thelma (Jess) King, Evelyn (Bruce) Berrier and Esther (Lorenzo) Colvin.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date and will be held in the chapel at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
