Victoria T. Theis, 104, of Tiffin, OH died Friday evening, July 8, 2011 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

On November 30, 1906 in Carey, OH; she was born to Jacob and Teresa (Metz) Kessler.
She married Alex P. Theis on November 28, 1929 in Our Lady of Consolation in Carey.

Survivors include a son, Bill (Judy) Theis of Tiffin; daughters, Donna (Jim) Frankart of Findlay; Joyce (Jim) Lynch of Fort Myers, FL; daughter in law, Shirley Theis of Tiffin; sister, Sr. Mary Charlotte Kessler of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alex; a son, Richard Theis; brothers, Charles, Edward, Carl, and Joseph Kessler; and a sister, Elizabeth Theis.

Victoria was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and past member of the Altar Rosary Society where she had volunteered over the years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. Victoria took pride in her home and raising her family.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, (419)447-2424.

A mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters and Rev. Frank Kehres officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvert Catholic Schools or St. Francis Home.
