Vincent J. Fox, 99, of New Riegel, passed away on Saturday morning, March 19, 2016 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

He was born on March 25, 1916 in Frenchtown, Ohio to Nicholas and Mary (Lenhart) Fox. On August 12, 1944, in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, he married Laverne Shultz.

Survivors include his wife, Laverne of New Riegel; son, Robert (Janice) Fox of New Riegel; two daughters, Janice (Richard) Reinhart of Alvada and Marilyn Kinn of Tiffin; 6 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Vincent was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, worked at Flechtner Packing in Fostoria for over 25 years and was also a farmer. He enjoyed camping at Meadowbrook for 18 years, mowing the lawn, gardening, driving around on his golf cart and playing Euchre.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at All Saints Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel, Frenchtown with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery, Frenchtown.
