Violet M. "Vi" Sholl, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 7, 2021.

She was born on June 6, 1935, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Russell and Bernita (Allbaugh) Mellot.  On June 27, 1954, she married Donald Sholl and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2021.

Survivors include her sons, Keith (Theresa) Sholl and Rick Sholl, both of Tiffin; sister, Dorothy (Jo Allen) Smith of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Kelly Nelson, Seth Sholl and McKenzie Sholl; three great grandchildren, Shyaan, Alyssa and Arrin; and two great, great grandchildren, Atlas and Violet.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold Mellot and Pete Mellot; and sister, Thelma Gordon.

Vi was a 1953 graduate of Old Fort High School and worked at Ballreich's, GE and later retired from Excel Wire & Cable.  She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ where she attended regularly and volunteered, with her husband, at Washington Street United Methodist Church. Vi enjoyed decorating for Christmas, baked the best sugar cookies, was very classy and her smile could light up the whole room.

Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 2016 S. CR 19, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Rev. Doug DeVos officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Saturday at the Church.
