Obituary

Virginia B. "Ginny" Kuhn, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, May 1, 2010 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On December 20, 1925 in New Boston, Ohio; she was born to George Henry and Nellie May (Tolliver) Buckley. She married George R. Kuhn on June 26, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, George of 61 years; two daughters, Bonnie R. (David) Yandura of Tiffin; Jeanette M. (David) Youngston of Columbia Station, OH; a son, George A. (Denise) Kuhn of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, David (Ginger) Yandura Jr., Christine (Bryan) Zimmerman, Jacqueline (Jason) Hausman, Mercedes Youngston, David Youngston, Krista and Kayleen Kuhn; eight great grandchildren, Madison, Samuel and Cole Zimmerman; Alexandria, Nicholas and Meghan Hausman; Tyler and Georgia Yandura; a brother, Joseph A. (Joanna) Buckley of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, George E. Buckley and sisters, Hannah M. Hayward and Gracie M. Mathis.

Ginny came to Tiffin from New Boston and was raised and graduated from the Junior Home. Ginny and George were active in the Junior Home "Home Coming" weekends. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she enjoyed golfing and her dogs. Ginny will always be remembered by her family and friends as a very kind, gentle and sweet person, never complaining when times were tough. She was loved by everyone.

A mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the mass. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may visit and share their memories with the family on Monday, May 3, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Junior Home Memorial Park, FACT or the Seneca County Humane Society.
