Vivian Rose Burke, 82, of Tiffin, died Tuesday afternoon, October 7, 2008, in the emergency room Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

August 23, 1926, she was born in Tiffin, to Patrick Joseph and Nellie T. (McCarthy) Burke.

Survivors include a niece, Maryellyn (John) Krantz of Cumming, IA, two nephews, Martin Burke (Karen) Bukoll of Park Ridge, IL, Timothy (Patricia) Reese of Chicago, IL, a great-niece, Kathleen (Joel) Petersen of Minneapolis, MN, 4 great-nephews, Martin Carl Bukoll of Park Ridge, IL, Terry (Nicole) Reese, Sean Reese, both of Chicago and Jeffrey Krantz of Cumming, IA, and many dear friends.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are two sisters, Eileen Reese and Florence Bukoll.

Vivian graduated from Calvert High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She worked many years at Haefling Printing and retired after 19 years as a secretary at Buckeye Graphics in Worthington. She was a member of Allen Eiry Senior Center and bowled many years in the Catholic Ladies Bowling League. She volunteered at the gift shops at St. Francis Home and Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

Her funeral Mass is 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
