Vonda Jean Gebauer, 83, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday morning, July 28, 2012 at Independence House in Fostoria.

On July 24, 1929 in Tiffin, OH; she was born to Alfred Oliver and Erma "Ermie" (Tusing) Miller. She married Paul Robert Gebauer on March 4, 1949.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Reidling of Bowling Green, OH; sons, Douglas (Susan) Gebauer of Amsden, OH; Steven (Peggy) Gebauer of Fostoria, OH; Daniel (Theresa) Gebauer of Bascom, OH; brother, Richard (Fay) Miller of Ventura, CA; sister, Peggy Price of Tiffin, OH; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul in 1985; son in law, Richard Reidling; daughter in law, Deb Gebauer in 1979 an infant granddaughter, Robin Lynn Gebauer in 1977, brothers, Miles, Clyde and Forrest Miller, sisters, Helen Miller, Katheryn Sherman, Treva Perkins, and Nina Miller.

Vonda graduated from Broadway High School in Virginia in 1947 and worked for Gray Printing in Fostoria, Goods Office Supply, Boles-Dandurand Photography, Sears Roebuck in the Catalog Dept. in Tiffin and Fostoria and sold Avon for years. She was very talented, casting porcelain dolls, designing clothes and painting them. She was a member of the Amsden Flower Club and Sandusky County Doll Club.

Her funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
