Wayne M. Cook, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025 at the Courtyard at Tiffin.

He was born on July 26, 1937, in North Baltimore, Ohio, to Errold M. and Alice (Ebersole) Cook.  On June 23, 1955, he married Rella E. Collins and she preceded him in death in 2012.

Survivors include his sons, Michael (Deb) Cook of Bettsville and Steven M. (Mindy) Cook of Tiffin; daughter, Brenda S. Brandaberry of Fostoria; brother, Harold "Hank" Cook of Fostoria; six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Cook and Jerry Cook; sister, Doris Rose and one grandchild.

Wayne graduated in 1955 from Fostoria High School.  He was a mechanic at Atlas Crankshaft, retiring after 30 plus years.  He enjoyed working on golfcarts and was known as "The Cart Man".  Wayne also enjoyed wintering in Lady Lake, Florida, camping at Clinton Lake and Leafy Oaks and loved animals, especially his dogs.

There will be a graveside service at Memory Gardens in Arcadia at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County.
