Wilbert Joseph "Joe" Rahrig, 83, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2017 at St. Francis Home.

He was born on August 20, 1933, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Henry and Edna (Kuntz) Rahrig.

Survivors include his sister, Rose Frick of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Patricia Rahrig; and brother-in-law, Dick Frick.

Joe was a farmer his entire life and worked at Tiffin Farmers Co-op for years.  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Seneca County Farm Bureau and a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus #608 and Tiffin Moose #846 and was a Cleveland Indians fan.

His Mass will be at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Francis Home Chapel with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at St. Francis Home Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Calvert Catholic Schools, Mooseheart Charity or to a charity of the donor's choice.
