Willard E. "Buck" Callahan, 83, passed on May 24, 2012. He was born on March 17, 1929, in Wyandot County to Forrest E. and Esther M. (Runion) Callahan. On March 3, 1951, he married his wife of 61 years, Eugenia M. "Jeannie" Weinandy.

To this union 3 daughters were born, Bonnie J. (Robert) Mack of Fostoria, Ohio, Deborah K. (David) Shumaker, of Tiffin, Ohio and Vickie Conley, of Tiffin, Ohio. In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and another due in July; 3 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren and 3 foster great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Andy Sours, Frank (Audrey) Callahan of Tiffin, Dean (Janet) Callahan of Wisconsin, and Ronald (Denise) of South Dakota.

In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Yoakum; siblings, Charles L. Callahan, Helen Callahan, Homer and Calvin Sours, Edna Fuller, Mary Tainer, Martha Aiken, Iola Chester, Rose Mobley, and Betty Yentzer.

Willard attended Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene and was formerly employed by Tiffin Brass and Bronze, Tiffin Glass House and retired from National Machinery in 1991. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services will be held at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-2424, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Chaplain Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the services in Seneca Memory Gardens with Military Honors conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care, F.A.C.T. or Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene.
