William "Bill" A. Steinmetz

William “Bill” A. Steinmetz, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday morning, June 14, 2026, at The Willows.

Bill was born in Tiffin, August 15, 1950, to Arthur A. and Margaret (Kirian) Steinmetz. He is survived by sisters, Patricia Hall and Joyce (Jack) Cascaden, both from Tiffin; and brother Jerry (Angie) Steinmetz of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Donna Steinmetz and Betty Miles; and brother, Dick Steinmetz.

Bill was an avid New York Yankees enthusiast who excelled in baseball and softball. He was a 1970 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and worked many years at the Heinz factory.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Seneca County Humane Society or Heartland Hospice.
