William "Bill" D. Pachlhofer, 53, of Fostoria and Bascom, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at his home.

On November 1, 1962 in Tiffin, he was born to Robert F. and Elizabeth L. (Hoover) Pachlhofer and they preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Bill (Amber) Pachlhofer of Cridersville; Robert (Lindy) Pachlhofer of Bellefontaine; Danielle (Sebastian) Carpenter of Tiffin; Chris Pachlhofer, USAF, Dover; Lindsay Pachlhofer of Mitchell, SD; a brother, Robb (Stephanie) Pachlhofer, sisters, Lisa (Steve) Freeman, Brenda Gatchel all of Bascom; and nine grandchildren.

Bill graduated from Hopewell-Loudon High School in 1981 and worked at American Standard for over 20 years, enjoyed boating and camping at Lake Erie, and spending time at Pachlhofer Pond. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and the good times.

A Memorial service will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit on Friday, one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
